Undergraduate Major:Law(Double Degree)

1. Major Introduction

With the development of our country’s socialist market economy and law system construction, the demand of the society for the inter-disciplinary talents is increasing. The specialty aims to train the interdisciplinary talents who possess solid major knowledge and skills and at the same time possess knowledge and skills of law science. The students will study fundamental specialized courses and main specialized courses. The main courses include jurisprudence, civil law, criminal law, criminal procedure law, civil procedure law, administrative law, administrative procedure law, economic law and international economic law.

2. Academic Objectives

The aim of the specialty is to train the inter-disciplinary talents who possess solid major knowledge and skills and at the same time possess knowledge and skills of law science, strengthen students’ ability to adapt to society and meet the demand of knowledge economy for talents.

3. Academic Requirements

The graduates will possess the following knowledge and skills:

(1)  Master basic theory and knowledge of law science.

(2)  Have the ability to analyze and solve problems by using basic knowledge of law science.

(3)  Familiarize with knowledge of law and have strong verbal and written communication abilities.

4. Length of Schooling and Degree

This double major program accompanies the first major program and the length of schooling is three years. Students will be awarded the Bachelor Degree of Management when they have completed the required credits and have met all other requirements.

5. Required Credits

Only after students have completed 41 credits, and have passed the second bachelor degree thesis defense, can they obtain the Bachelor Degree of Management.

(Note: If the students haven’t completed the required credits, but meet the requirements of Minor Program in Business Management, they can obtain a minor diploma of Business Management.)
