  • Introduction of School of Land Science and Technology
    The School was founded in the early 1950s as the Surveying Teaching and Research Section of the Beijing Institute of Geology. Professor Zhou Ka, a well-known geodesist in China, served as the first Head of the Teaching and Research Section.
  • Undergraduate Major:Surveying and Mapping Engineering
    The undergraduate program in Surveying and Mapping Engineering aims to investigate the shape and size of the earth, the gravity field, the spatial position and properties of various spatial targets.
  • Undergraduate Major:Land Resources Management
    The undergraduate program in Land Resources Management cultivates tech-managerial talents in land resources management with ability to engage in land survey, registration, evaluation, planning, exploiting, management and scientific research.
  • Undergraduate Major:Land Consolidation Engineering
    The program trains top-ranking engineering technicians who are able to be engaged in surveying, mapping, investigation, evaluation, planning, design and construction in the fields of land resources and urban and rural construction etc.
